View our Mission Statement In 1995, Dan & Cheryl DeLoye purchased "The Village Florist", located in Ft. Loramie. In the first year of business, we doubled the previous owner's sales. In 1997, with the growth of our business, we moved to a larger location in the Ft. Loramie area. At year end of 1998, the Ft. Loramie store is now grossing over three times the sales of our predecessors "The Village Florist." In 2003, we purchased a prime retail site, located in downtown Ft. Loramie.

We decided it was time to expand. The New Bremen location was chosen, ground was broken and construction started in June of 1999. Grand opening was held in November of 1999. Our second ABloom location is at the corner of State Route 66 and Amsterdam Rd. The New 3,500 square foot building, allowed us to increase our delivery area. We now serviced not only all of Shelby County, but also parts of Mercer County and most of Auglaize County. The fall of 2004 included an expansion of 2,500 square foot for 150,000 projects at the New Bremen store. We added a large retail greenhouse display area and an expanded warehouse and receiving area. With the addition of Lawler's Flowers and Gifts in November of 2005. The St Mary's Location is at 425 E. Spring Street. This 8,000 square foot building has a lot of character. With vaulted ceilings and large windows this facility will show off ABloom. In addition, we have added the Celina Location. Which is in the Prime retail spot on the square.

The locations in Ft.Loramie, New Bremen and St.Marysare currently operating as retail floral and gift shops. The employees include store managers, floral designers, sales staff, and clerical and delivery personnel.

We have also received various business awards including The Business of the year from the Coldwater Chamber of Commerce and Beatification awards in the years 1998 and 2002, from the Ft Loramie Chamber of Commerce. We have also won various competitions & design shows competing against other local florists. At ABloom Flowers & Gifts we specialize in weddings, special events, and personalized and custom arrangements. Some of our product lines include balloon arrangements, plush animals, picture frames, concrete stepping stones and angels, live plants, gourmet foods and baskets, interior accessories, greeting cards, and a large selection of angels and inspirational gifts.
